How to use the bet calculator

Pick your bet type, enter the odds for each selection in any format — fractional like 5/2, decimal like 3.50 or American like +250 — and set your stake. Mark each selection won, placed, dead heat or lost and the calculator instantly shows your total stake, total return and profit.

Worked example: a £10 treble at 2.0, 3.0 and 1.5 returns £10 × 2.0 × 3.0 × 1.5 = £90 — an £80 profit. Lose any leg and the whole treble returns nothing.

Accumulators

For a double, treble or longer acca, every selection has to win. The return is all the odds multiplied together, times your stake — so the potential grows fast, but a single loser sinks the whole bet.

Full-cover bets (Lucky 15, Yankee, Trixie…)

These cover multiple combinations from your selections, so you can still get a return when not everything wins. A Yankee on four selections is 11 bets — 6 doubles, 4 trebles and one four-fold; a Lucky 15 adds the four singles on top.

Each-way and dead heats

Turn on each-way to split your stake into a win part and a place part, with the place part paid at a fraction of the odds. If a selection dead-heats, mark it "Dead heat" and enter how many runners tied — the calculator pays that line at the reduced fraction.

Frequently asked questions

How do you work out accumulator returns?+
Multiply every selection's decimal odds together, then multiply by your stake. A £10 treble at 2.0, 3.0 and 1.5 returns £10 × 2.0 × 3.0 × 1.5 = £90 — an £80 profit. Fractional (5/2) and American (+250) odds are converted to decimal first, which this calculator does for you.
What is a Lucky 15?+
A Lucky 15 is four selections combined into 15 bets: 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and one four-fold. You get a return as long as at least one selection wins, and many bookmakers add a bonus if just one wins or all four do.
How does an each-way bet work?+
An each-way bet is two bets — a win bet and a place bet, each for your unit stake, so £5 each-way costs £10. The win part pays if your selection wins; the place part pays at a fraction of the odds (commonly 1/5 or 1/4) if it finishes in the places.
How is a dead heat paid?+
In a dead heat, two or more selections tie for a position, so only a fraction of your stake wins at full odds — divided by the number tied. Two tied pays half, three a third, and so on. Choose "Dead heat" on a selection and enter how many were tied.
